Fix roads before they become failures
Reactive pothole filling is the most expensive way to run a network. RoadScout detects defects automatically, grades them by severity, and hands your crews a prioritised works programme: planned intervention while repairs are still cheap.
Why proactive wins
A dollar of prevention buys ten of cure.
The economics of pavement are unforgiving: the same defect costs 5 to 10 times more once it fails. Intelligent maintenance is a triage problem, and triage needs current, graded, geo-tagged data.
SEC. 01 / ECONOMICS
Proactive beats reactive, 5 to 10 times over
A crack sealed early costs 5 to 10 times less than the emergency repair it becomes. Severity grading on every detection tells you which defects to intervene on before minor cracking deteriorates into potholes.
Prioritise by severity, not by complaint
Every detection carries a confidence score and a severity rating. Crews and budget go to the most critical defects first, on evidence, not on whichever pothole got phoned in loudest.
Watch the network change between surveys
Repeat passes over the same roads show how conditions are moving. Deterioration rates fall out of the data, and with them a prediction of when each segment needs intervention.
Prioritised defect lists, export-ready
Every defect ships with GPS coordinates, evidence frames and a severity rating. Export the prioritised list straight into your maintenance management system, or raise the work orders inside RoadScout.
Closed loop
From survey to verified repair in four steps.
Detection is only useful if it ends in a repair you can prove. The RoadScout workflow connects detection to action to verification, and every step leaves a record.

Drive the network
Any smartphone-equipped vehicle on its normal rounds. Capture runs automatically: every defect is detected, geo-tagged and graded without operator input.
Review with evidence
Detections land on the dashboard with full evidence frames and confidence scores. Engineers accept or decline each finding from the desk, with an audit trail.
Raise prioritised work orders
Accepted defects become work orders, grouped by location and severity. Assign crews, set priority and estimated cost, and track completion.
Re-survey to confirm the fix
Repaired segments are re-surveyed on the next pass. Before-and-after comparison confirms fix quality and closes the loop on maintenance effectiveness.
Put your maintenance budget where the data says.
One vehicle and a week of normal rounds returns a severity-graded defect list for everywhere it drove.
